Reduced Shakespeare Company goes all the way on History of Comedy

1 min read

The Reduced Shakespeare Company is well known for its quirky and comical takes on, The Bible and The Complete Works of Shakespeare, and they returned yet again to the Macrobert Arts Centre to reveal the intimate secrets and hilarity of, the Complete History of Comedy.

Their performance was varied and exciting, full of cheeky nonsense and well-timed jokes and stunts. As the clever gents took us through the ages of comedic history and evolution, they offered something to amuse a diverse audience of all ages and tastes.

At moments it was outrageous and loud, and at others it was discreet and refined. But in all it was smart, well considered and seventy minutes of well delivered comic pleasure and imagination.
