It’s that time of year to start thinking of decking the halls with tinsel and holly and brightening up our home.
But sometimes the same old decorations or mass produced baubles just don’t do the trick. So this year, Brig is here to suggest some fun and easy to make decorations to give you a personal and creative change this Christmas.
Christmas Trees
If you get: a chip cone, furry material, sequins and glue you can make your own little Christmas tree.
Santa Candle Holder
If you love candles and want to make your own holder then all you need is: an empty jar, shiny paper and glue to make this.
Candle Holder Rudolf
If you want to make your own festive reindeer to hang up on the tree, then all you need is: a candle holder, craft wire covered in material, goggle eyes, beads, glittery paper and glue.
Wine Cosy
For you students who like wine, this one is nice and easy for replicating the outdoor frozen student look. All you need is a wine bottle, (empty or full, it really doesn’t matter), some craft wire coated in material and cut off the finger tips of a glove.
Christmas Pine Cones
This is a nice little decoration to sit on a table or windowsill. All you need is: a pine cone, felt baubles and glue.
Winter Wonderland Characters
If you want to make some festive characters for your home then all you need for this one is: Finished toilet rolls, craft paper, material to cut up for hats and glue.
Jigsaw Reindeer
If you want to make a unique Rudolf, then take some jigsaw pieces which you can either paint to make one colour or leave as they are to give a creative style. All you will need is: jigsaw pieces, paint, goggle eyes and a clown noise.
Santa Clause and Co
If you want to make Santa and his friends, you just need the same items as the Winter Wonderland Characters: Toilet rolls, craft paper, material to cut up for hats and glue.
The Buttoned Up Bauble
If you have some old Christmas baubles that fancy a change of attire, then all you need to liven it up is: Buttons and glue.
