These are photographs taken by Emma C. Simpson, who is a fourth year psychology student at Stirling University.
When Brig asked Emma why she was interested in photography, she said: “I’ve been a photographer for over a decade now and have always been drawn to wildlife and landscapes as my subjects. Part of what I love about these areas of photography is their unpredictability. You can’t dictate the weather or ask an animal to turn to face you so it’s all about being in the right place at the right time. The more I learn, the more I appreciate the quote, ‘a photograph is never taken – it is always given.’”
Emma also has a photography blog that can be accessed here.
