Everyone is allowed to feel a bit intimidated about the future. Whether that’s the next hour, week or year – the inescapable unknown can be terrifying. There’s always been something scary about not knowing what could possibly come next in your life.
But that spontaneity is also what makes things so exciting – so try to embrace it.

First thing you need to do is accept that change is inevitable. When you can’t run from something, your best bet is to just accept it.
Accepting invites to things you’ve never done before. Accepting that not everything will always be okay. Accepting new people into your life.
University is the perfect place to find out who you want to be. There will be no other time like this, so be fearless. You are in charge of what to do, and who to be.
Take advantage of that.

With a new year approaching, there has never been a better time to evolve in unison with the unknown. We all have to live a life, so we might just as well enjoy it.
So, start with the simple things. Which could literally be anything. Did you see an outfit on Instagram you liked? What’s to stop you from trying it? It’s not your style?
Why not?

The beauty of change is it lets you be whoever you want to be. No one should be bound by expectations of some unknown destiny. Make your own. Don’t choose one path, walk them all until you find the one that brings you the most excitement.
Life needs to be more than a routine. Go and meet new people, eat somewhere new and unknown with your friends, create new habits. Get out that nasty rut you accidentally fell into.

There are so many memories waiting to be made, and you won’t find them without switching things up. So, don’t be afraid to do something new and adventurous. Be bold, be impulsive.
Be the person you daydreamed about when you were a kid. You now have the chance to do everything your younger self ever wished for – don’t let that pass you by.
Hit Fubar on the weekdays, dance awfully at Dusk. Own all the student events because if not now, when!?

Make mistakes, laugh at them later. Experience everything you can at least once.

Now is your moment to do everything differently. Get rid of the things you don’t like in your life, welcome in the new and interesting
There are endless opportunities of what you can experience in your life. The people around you will change, and so will you. But to go forward with the intention of embracing the new…well, that changes everything, altogether.
