The LGBT society have announced the dates and theme for this year’s Pride Week.

The society announced on their social media that this year’s pride week would return on February 10 and that the theme would be “Colour Outside the Lines.”

The post read,

“A full programme of daytime and evening events is planned over the week that will focus on creative thinking and the celebration of diversity.”

The LGBT society’s committee issued a comment about pride week and the events that they have planned,

“We’re excited to be bringing StirPride back to campus again this year, and we can’t wait to show you the full programme of day and night events planned for the week.

“This year we’ve planned the event around our chosen theme ‘Colour Outside the Lines’.

“We picked this theme as it encourages creative thinking and the celebration of diversity, which we think is what Pride tries to achieve.

“There’ll be film screenings, panels, stalls and much more for all students, staff and visitors to enjoy. We’re also delighted to be taking one the week’s highlights, the drag show, to Fubar this year!

“We look forward to seeing you all at #StirPride!”

This is the third Pride Week that the society have held at the university.
