Staff of Morrison’s Cold Beer Company in Stirling are celebrating after being awarded nationally.

Morrison’s was named the Best Invested Pub of the Year at the Greene King awards.

This success follows two previous award wins, when last year the pub was named People’s Pub of the Year and manager Danielle (Dana) Swan Gardiner was named Manager of the Year.

Gardiner told Brig: “This makes me feel proud of my pub and my team.

“In my 18 years with the company I’ve never felt so proud of my team.”

Cold Beer Company went through an extensive refurbishment in August of last year and has become a popular space for sports fans in Stirling, and has forged good working relationships with the American Football team and the Pool Society.

The Clansmen American Football team hosted a Super Bowl pub quiz and the pool society host weekly practices at the bar on Monday nights.

Another Stirling pub that was awarded by Greene King was No. 2 Baker Street, when their General Manager Val Mills was awarded Lifetime Achievement.
