Stirling University’s library is set to reopen from next week.
This comes after an announcement from the university detailing some re-opening plans for the library, following university guidance and the Scottish Government.
From next week, 20 July, the library will introduce a ‘Click and Collect’ service.
You will be allowed to make requests online for books and then collect them from the library.
Access to study spaces in the library for Post Graduate students is planned W/C 3 August, which will be subject to some final health and safety measures being put in place.
Additionally, social distancing measures will be in place and students will be advised to wear a face covering and follow guidance in the library.
Also, the libraries Archive Reading Room will reopen W/C 3 August, where you can book an appointment to plan your visit.
The Library and IT staff will still continue to provide support remotely via UniDesk, or by contacting libary@stir.ac.uk or information.centre@stir.ac.uk for IT.
The university have also said they have plans to have the library open to all staff and students by the start of the new semester.
Cleaning and installation of protection for staff and students is currently underway.
