“Eat Out to Help Out” extensions in Stirling

The month of August saw diners across the United Kingdom enjoying a discount of 50 per cent off their food bills, with a maximum of £10 per person, in certain restaurants. The “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme was designed to help the hospitality industry recover from the impact of the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown. 

Although the Government-funded initiative drew to a close in August, many eateries in Stirling have extended or adapted the discount into September. 

Green Gates

Specialising in “Home Style” regional cuisine from the North and South of India, Green Gates is offering a 30 per cent discount on food. The deal is available at dinner time Sunday to Thursday and only applies if you reserve a table in advance.

The Kilted Kangaroo

Travel across the world with the food served at Australian-themed pub, Kilted Kangaroo. From Monday to Wednesday they are offering a 50 per cent discount, with up to £10 per person, on their food menu. 

River House

Part of the Cawley Hotel and Restaurant group, River House has beautiful views and a range of dishes. Throughout September you can get up to £10 off per person on food and non-alcoholic drinks, Monday to Wednesday. However, the offer does exclude the dine out for less menu. 

Fletcher’s

Fletcher’s is a family run restaurant, with a large menu that uses locally sourced produce. As long as you book in advance, you can get 50 per cent off – with a maximum of £10 per person – on food and soft drinks throughout September. 

The Allan Park

The Allan park has a bar, restaurant and coffee house in one. With a terrific breakfast and lunch menu, you can enjoy a 25 per cent discount on food between 8am and 3pm, Monday to Wednesday. 

Cronies Bar & Restaurant

The Golden Lion Hotel’s restaurant, Cronies, is offering a Super September deal on their food menu, containing local and Scottish produce. From Sunday to Thursday – with a maximum of eight people – you can enjoy a 20 per cent discount on your food bill. 

The Meadowpark Pub and Kitchen (Bridge of Allan)

Be served hearty meals with locally sourced and seasonal produce at The Meadowpark Pub and Kitchen. Every Wednesday and Thursday, during the month of September, you can enjoy up to 50 per cent off your food bill, with a maximum of £10 per person. The deal does not apply to soft drinks or coffees, and cannot be used with other offers. 

Spice Garden

Spice Garden specialises in Indian food with a Nepalese twist. From Monday to Wednesday, if you sit in, you can enjoy £10 off per person on food for all of September. Their lunch menu is also discounted by 20 per cent. 

Nawab

Experience Mughali cusine at Nawab and until September 30, get 50 per cent off with up to £10 per person. The offer is valid on: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. 

Westerton Arms (Bridge of Allan)

In this traditional dog-friendly Socttish pub, you can enjoy 50 per cent off or up to £10 off per person, Monday to Thursday. They boast a wide range of foods, and use locally sourced produce and Scottish meats.

The Crossed Peels

Wetherspoon has launched a “Stay Out to Help Out” scheme which will run from September 1 until November 11, Monday to Wednesday. Certain items on the menu are reduced, with up to 48 per cent off.
