Tighter restrictions around takeaways and click and collect services are to come into force in Scotland from Saturday.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced the new coronavirus restrictions which aim to reduce indoor meetings amid rising coronavirus cases.
From Saturday shops only selling essential items like footwear, baby equipment, books, homeware, and clothing will be allowed to offer click and collect.
Collections must also take place outside and appointments should be made to stop queuing.
For takeaways, they can no longer allow customers inside and must fully operate from a hatch or doorway.
Also, Sturgeon has brought in a ban on the consumption of alcohol outdoors in all level four areas.
People who were working from home last lockdown are also being told to work from home again during this lockdown.
Additionally, rules around construction work in private properties will be changed. Only work which is for “maintenance, upkeep and functioning” will be allowed.
Commenting on the new rules Ms Sturgeon said: “We believe that both individually and collectively these additional measures, in further reducing the interactions that allow the virus to spread, will help our essential efforts to suppress it.”
The rules come as 1,949 new coronavirus cases were reported in Scotland, 90 of them in the Forth Valley area.
16 new cases have been recorded in Stirling.
