University offer Chinese food delivery to celebrate Chinese New Year

1 min read

Tomorrow marks the beginning of a new year according to the Lunar calendar.

In previous years, the student community has celebrated with various stalls and events in the atrium on campus, however this is not possible due to the current COVID 19 restrictions .

Instead to help students celebrate Chinese New year, from tomorrow until the 18th February students who are residents in campus accommodation can order Chinese food to their door between 5pm until 9:45pm.

Orders can be placed through the “Food at Stirling” app which is available on both the app store and the google play store.

Whilst 2020 was a year of the rat, this year will be a year of the ox. The ox was last used as the zodiac symbol in 2009 and famous people who were born in a year of the ox include Barack Obama and Meryl Streep.
