After an initial collaborative creative writing workshop between the Uni societies, they have announced an erotic/romantic writing competition; winning entrants can grab some prizes

The Stirling University Creative Writing Society and the Stirling Sexual Health Society have announced a writing competition based around romantic/erotic writing after a successful collaborative writing workshop between the two societies days ago.

Submissions for the competition open on February 14 (very fitting!) with entries to be submitted by February 28.

Winners will be announced on March 4, coinciding with World Book Day.

Entrants can submit up to two pieces of work for the competition with each entry capped at 1,500 words, which is regular for short writing competitions.

First prize nabs a £20 book voucher for local literary haunt, The Book Nook, with second and third receiving a Valentine’s Day giftbag.

So why not exercise your saucy love muscle this February (I mean the brain, of course) and enter a piece of hot fiction into the competition?

The link for where to submit your delectable entries will be released by the societies on February 14, when this article will also be amended to show you where to slide your entry into. Ooo eeeer!
