Naomi Osaka is the Australian Open champion for the second time.
A dominant display saw her beat 22nd seed Jennifer Brady 6-4, 6-3 in just over an hour.
The win means that she has now won four Grand Slam titles, having won the 2018 and 2020 US Opens and the Australian Open in 2019.
Speaking after the match, Osaka said: “It feels incredible to have fans, I played the last Grand Slam without fans, to have this energy means a lot… I feel like playing a Grand Slam is a privilege.”
The Japanese player extends her winning streak to 21 matches and moves up to second in the WTA rankings, behind Australian Ashleigh Barty.
