Scotland’s COVID-19 travel ban to be lifted on Friday

Scotland’s COVID-19 travelling restrictions will be lifted on Friday.

Along with travel restrictions being eased, people will be allowed to meet in groups of up to six adults from six households.

Further restrictions involving the opening of the economy are expected to start on April 26, with the country planning to move from Level Four to Level Three restrictions.

In the last 24 hours there have been 221 newly detected COVID-19 cases, along with three COVID-19 deaths.
