Two games based on the iconic franchise, Halloween, have been announced by Boss Team Games.

Horror games based on iconic horror franchises have become somewhat common in the last few years.

Some such games being; Friday the 13th: The Game, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Killer Klowns From Outer Space and Evil Dead: The Game.

All of the previously mentioned games have a mixed reception, with many seeking to emulate the success of Behaviour Interactive’s Dead By Daylight.

Boss Team Games previously worked on Evil Dead: The Game. Although nothing has been confirmed about how the Halloween games will play their previous output suggests one of the two games could be another asymmetrical horror game.

Whilst details on both games are slim at the moment, Boss Team Games promised fans that they can expect, “to relive moments from the film and play as classic characters from one of the most iconic and important horror films of all time.”

It was also revealed by IGN that one of the games will be developed in Unreal Engine 5, and John Carpenter will be “intimately involved” with its production.

John Carpenter even hopped on social media to express his excitement for the games, stating that, “As a huge gamer myself, I’m thrilled to help bring Michael Myers to life again in this game, and my hope is to scare you silly.”

The announcement has excited fans as Micheal Myers hasn’t had his own game since Halloween on the Atari 2600 in 1983.

Stay tuned to Brig as we keep you updated on the development of the games.
