Ronnie, known as @feelingw00zy on Tiktok is a massive horror fanatic and releases content discussing his large collection and favourite horror franchises. This Freaky Friday, Brig sits down with Ronnie to discuss their collection and what it means to them.
“From a young age I was already asking for horror collectibles”
Asked why he started collecting, Ronnie said, “My parents never hid horror movies from me growing up, and my parents are horror fans themselves, so from a young age I was already asking for horror collectibles and to go see the latest horror movie in theatres.
“So when I got older and started making my own money I pretty quickly started growing my collection. But also my parents still add to my collection when they are out and about and come across a collectible they think I will like.”

“A full circle moment”
Ronnie’s first Horror memory comes from one of his now beloved franchises, “When I was about 2 years old I got my first chucky doll. I carried him around with me everywhere, I have a picture that I occasionally show my followers to remind them that I’ve always been this way haha.”
About 2 years ago, I found that same doll on the internet and now it’s part of my collection again. A full circle moment for me.”
Asked about his favourite franchise to collect from, he said: “I probably have to go with “A Nightmare on Elm Street”. Freddy is such a unique looking character and the movies are very camp, so that often translates to the merchandise and they’re always very cool. But it’s also my favorite horror movie so I’m a bit biased.”
A love of horror has stayed with Ronnie from a young age, but what makes the genre so special to him?
“First off I find horror to be the most creative and diverse genre, it can make you feel every single emotion in a matter of 90 minutes. But I also think horror is an escape for a lot of people, because as morbid as it sounds there’s something about watching a character go through the unimaginable in terrifying situations, that can really make you sit back and think ‘hmm maybe my life could be worse?’
“We root for these characters because we see part of our selves in them and often think what we would do if we were in their situation. So when they make it out alive there’s a sort of calming and satisfying feeling that if they can overcome their situation, so can I.”
