As it’s almost been a year since I arrived in America for my study abroad placement, I decided to reflect back on what winter looked like over there.
In the small town of Pullman, Washington, snow would pile up to your knees and the icy wind would nip at your ears on the way to class.

One morning, while my jet lag was still adjusting, I decided to have a walk around the cold and foggy campus.
Daylight was yet to break, covering the campus in a peaceful winter haze.
As the day progressed, students began to emerge from their warm dorms and commence the icy walk to class.
Sunlight glittered across the snow for a few hours before the stormy weather ramped up again.
