Stirling University’s women’s football is doing a sponsored walk up Dumyat in support of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Tuesday the 18th of March SUWF is hosting a sponsored walk to up Dumyat under Siobhans’ Legacy of Love.
Siobhans’ Legacy of Love is a memorial fund in honour of Scotland rugby international Siobhan Cattigan. The fund was established by Siobhan’s friends and family in honour of her. She had been involved Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity since she was 13, when she was raising funds for her younger cousin.
Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity supports families and children who are struggling. All money raised from this walk will go straight to the charity. This will help to continue their hippotherapy service, in honour of Siobhans’ love for children and animals.
Women’s football have been supporting Siobhans’ Legacy of Love for several years now and are keen to continue this support with their sponsored walk.
If you are wanting to support them, you can join the club on their sponsored walk. Meet them in Dumyat car park on the 18th of March at 11am. Or, if you are unable to join, you can also donate.
