St Patrick’s Day 2025 has finally arrived! Since the 17th century St Patricks Day has been celebrated on March 17 as a way of commemorating Saint Patrick’s death – one of the patron saints of Ireland.
This holiday has turned into a celebration of Irish culture with the tradition of drinking alcohol being the most popular way to spend it – this was due to the historical Lenten restriction on drinking being lifted for this day!
