Is it magic, or is it a penis? No need to wonder with this show, as it is safe to assume that it is both.
Adults Only Magic Show, all the way from Australia and created by Showmen Productions comedy magicians Justin Williams and Sam Hume, is without a doubt one of the most outrageously entertaining shows to see at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025. I recommend beginning your evening with a cocktail (or three) to help you relax beforehand – you might find yourself face to face with more than you bargained for.
I mean, who doesn’t want a piece of ‘down-under’ thrust at them live on stage?
These boys are, without a doubt, some of the best magicians I have come across. From a groundbreaking stage presence to mind-boggling magic tricks, they certainly know how to capture a crowd – even before stripping down to mini skirts (and less).
Since seeing the show over the weekend, I have been trying desperately to work out how on Earth the boys pulled off these magic tricks, yet I cannot wrap my mind around the art of their performance. I have to relent – it must be magic.
Tricks were pulled off that you didn’t even know were happening until they were over, occurring simultaneously with teleporting phones and spicy innuendos. The temperature in the room gradually heated up as the show progressed, and the boys (Justin, in particular) lost an increasing number of clothing items – much to the joy and disbelief of the raptured crowd.
The show is a magical cocktail of incredible illusions, cleverly crafted comedy, and an (almost) tasteful amount of naughtiness. A truly unique, professionally outrageous evening awaits future audiences – although, beware what lies beneath a short mini skirt!
Justin and Sam have created the perfect show for a night out with the girls, a raunchy time with your significant other, or a laugh with the lads – just don’t take your parents…
