PinkPantheress shocked London with her first performance in the O2 Academy in Brixton last month, bringing a variety of unique competitions and giveaways in celebration of the milestone.
This kicked off her An Evening with… a tour, making the two nights in Brixton her only stop outside of the US.
Queues to enter the venue began from 11 a.m. that morning, each attendee dolled up in their finest tartan for the outfit competition that Pink was hosting. The mystery prize? A certificate handed to you personally by PinkPantheress herself.
In addition to the competition, the first 500 attendees to begin queuing for the concert were given tokens which could be exchanged for a free meal.

Natanya, the opener, set the tone perfectly. The audience cheered as she danced to her smooth R&B tunes, making it clear she had a few fans of her own in the crowd.
Half an hour after Natanya’s exit, the speakers announced “London, this is it!”, displaying an iconic shadow on the curtains as her hit single ‘Illegal‘ began to play. The tune switched to the sultry ‘Stateside‘, the curtain fell and revealed the main act.
Overall performance
The overall performance was phenomenal, flowing between her biggest hits and deep cuts, covering all fan-favourites (that had sample clearances.)
Pink kept the energy the whole performance, mixing in dance breaks, two tartan outfit changes and some great interaction with the audience.
In one of these interactions, an audience member had replaced the face of a Labubu (a now notorious mystery box icon) with a picture of her, and threw it to her on stage.

During the set, she asked the crowd to help her find her “Romeo”. When found, he was pulled out of the crowd and onto the stage. This led into Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic‘, as he break-danced to the instrumental.
Closing on her new mainstream breakthrough ‘Illegal‘, the audience was left truly satisfied by the night and looking forward to her next project.
