Macrobert Arts Centre announces Beauty and the Beast pantomime

The Macrobert Arts Centre has announced its 2026 Christmas panto: Beauty and the Beast.

Written by Johnny McKnight, this adaptation of Beauty and the Beast will feature, “chaos, charm and a mysterious stolen rose.”

Ian Gallacher Jewellers is sponsoring the performance.

Andrew Gallacher from the local jeweller commented: “Ian Gallacher Jewellers are delighted to continue to support Macrobert Arts Centre with their annual pantomime. They are always a fantastic family experience and it’s great to be able to support another local business.”

Ian Gallacher Jewellers also supported Snow White in 2024 and Weans in the Wood in 2025.

Macrobert Arts Centre’s Head of Audience and Sales said: “We’re delighted that this year’s pantomime is once again supported by family-run local gem Ian Gallacher Jewellers, marking our third consecutive year working together. Our dynamic partnership is rooted in a shared love of storytelling and a commitment to creating theatrical magic, helping us deliver a truly dazzling experience for audiences at Macrobert and ensuring the curtain continues to rise year after year.”

Macrobert Arts Centre will release further details on the cast later in the year.
