It’s that time of year again! Yes, Galentine’s Day is upon us. A day for appreciating the special bonds between friends. Here is a rundown of why it is so important to celebrate each other on February 13.

Galentine’s Day was made for people who maybe don’t have a special someone to take part in Valentine’s Day with. However, anyone can take part in it whether they have a partner or not. It’s about appreciation for those platonic bonds that people have because it isn’t touched upon often.
Friendships at University
It is extremely important that female friendships are empowered especially while being at university as it can be a hard adjustment to begin with. Being able to meet up with friends before or after classes can completely change your university experience.
Sometimes it can be lonely when everyone around you has people to confide in or even walk to their classes with. Even just extending an olive branch to someone by giving them a compliment or sitting down and starting a conversation, can make both of you feel better.
The worst people can say is no so you might as well try to interact with new people. It could be the best decision you ever make.

Pottery Painting: Whether you go into a shop to let your inner artist out or grab some supplies from a supermarket, by the end you’ll have a new mug or plate!
