Last week saw an official media day held to launch the Union election campaign. All the candidates standing to become full-time sabbatical officers were interviewed – those are Union President, VP Communities, VP Education and Sports President.
Many of the candidates for part-time positions also had interviews. All the interview videos can be found on AirTV’s YouTube channel. These were a joint effort between the University’s three media societies, with AirTV filming and editing the footage and Air3 Radio and Brig conducting the interviews.
We’ll be covering each of the full-time sabbatical posts here on Brig. Here we’ll go through the three candidates for Sports Union President, including the incumbent Jess Morris and challengers Greg Mihill and Steven Watson.
