The room was filled with the warm scent of chai, cinnamon and apples, as students proudly displayed their creations, ranging from S’mores topped brownies, cinnamon buns to “Taylor Swift’s Chai Cookies”. Alongside the delicious bakes, SUBS offered a variety of teas where students were asked to bring along a mug.  Autumnal themed music played softly in the background, creating the perfect setting for students to relax and chat, while enjoying a delicious homemade sweet treat!

The night was a sweet success for the society. SUBS meetings, provide a welcoming space for both existing and new members to chat, share baking tips and make new friends. The committee always creates an inclusive and relaxed environment making it easy for everyone to feel right at home, no matter their baking skill level!

If you want to take part in SUBS upcoming “Fall Crafts” night, join them on Friday 4th October at 7pm in room C2X4. This session is a non-baking night, meaning members do not need to bake anything ahead of time, but they are welcome to bring snacks and a mug for tea if they wish! Crafting supplies will be provided. Whether you bring your own inspiration or just your enthusiasm, all are welcome to join in the fun!
