If you’re a University of Stirling student with a sweet tooth, there’s exciting news. Cinnabon has officially landed in Stirling town Centre! The popular American bakery chain launched its fourth Scottish outlet on Friday, November 22 at the Thistles Shopping Centre. I happened to be there on opening day and got to experience the buzz first hand.

You’ll find the Cinnabon stand just outside Lush. Where the sweet, mouth-watering smell of caramel and cream cheese frosting will guide you over. They offer their full menu, featuring popular options like the Cinnabon®, the rich Caramel PecanBon, the Lotus Biscoff Bon, and the indulgent ChocoBon made with OREO®. If you’re looking for a slightly lighter option, all these flavours are available in ‘Minibon®’ size, which are still generously satisfying!
Having previously visited the Livingston Cinnabon and tried the Lotus Biscoff Bon (a personal favourite). I decided to mix it up this time. I opted for the Caramel PecanBon, took it home, and enjoyed it warm after a quick zap in the microwave. While the caramel and crunchy pecans were delightful, the Lotus Biscoff Bon still holds the top spot in my heart.

For those who enjoy pairing their bun with a drink, Cinnabon also offers a range of hot and cold drinks. Cinnabon’s menu options include their Luxury Spiced Chai Latte and their refreshing Mango and Passion Fruit Green Tea.
While Cinnabon’s prices might be a bit steep for students, the sweetness and generous size make these buns a treat worth splurging on. Especially after a long study session, sometimes you need to treat yourself!

Cinnabon holds a special place in my heart, as it takes me back to my trip to New York this past summer. I had been dreaming of a Classic Cinnabon® for months, thanks to the iconic Better Call Saul scenes with Gene Takavic (if you know, you know).
So, if you are taking a well-deserved study break, pop by the Cinnabon stand at Thistles Shopping Centre. You’ve earned it!
