February 13, the day before Valentines day, or as better known, Galentine’s Day.
Gather your favourite gal pals and spend the day appreciating each others company, without getting in the way of Valentines day itself!
Here’s three ideas for the sweetest Galentine’s day!
The early risers
Fancy starting off the day early? Amazing! For those who would rather not be out all night, here’s some ideas on fun things to do during the day.
How about getting some brunch? My current favourite breakfast spot is Mateos – best pancakes I’ve ever had and their caramel lattes are to die for!
After brunch, grab a coffee and a walk throughout Stirling! Try Kings Park, or people watch the busy streets in the centre of town.
If you’re in the mood to do an activity, bowling is one of the most fun things you can do with a group of friends, or even just one friend! Everyone loves some friendly competition!
There’s various other activities you could do as well, like an escape room or axe throwing!
Chill night in
Sometimes the best night is a night in! Being all cozy inside without the pressure of dressing up, especially in the cold weather, is just what we need sometimes.
You can have a potluck, everyone brings their favourite meals/drinks! Have a chill night in, do face masks, paint each other’s nails, and watch movies.
Make your own cocktails/mocktails: add a creative spin to well known recipes and rate who makes the best one!
You can do crafts, paint together or decorate pottery – have fun just enjoying your night in, almost like a throwback to the slumber parties you’d have as a kid!
Out in the town
A night out in the town is always a fun way to go, especially with all your closest friends.
Start the night off with a group meal out and go somewhere like Nando’s! Maybe go see a film and then after go get some cocktails and have a little pub crawl around Stirling!
It’s always fun to go out to the pubs with your favourite people, catching up and gossiping with each other over some drinks. Can’t beat it!
The most important thing is to enjoy the day with your gal pals and let loose!
