Graduations postponed until 2021

1 min read

Stirling University has made the decision to postpone 2020 graduations.

In a post on social media, the university announced that the November 2020 graduations would be pushed back to the July 2021 graduations.

The university made this decision due to the current risks posed by the Coronavirus.

Students who are due to graduate in 2020 will receive their award certificates by post and all students who were due to graduate in July and November
of this year will be invited back to a ceremony in July 2021.

The university statement read: “All of our Stirling 2020 graduates – from both June and November – will be invited back to celebrate their achievements at a
ceremony in late June 2021, subject to government guidance and public health advice at that time.

“Planning is ongoing and further details on the ceremonies and the registration process will be made available in the coming months. Thank you for your
continued understanding and we can’t wait to celebrate your graduation with you in person.”

Stirling graduations were cancelled this year when the country went into lockdown during the Coronavirus outbreak.
