Last night (April 3) was the inaugural Stirling Student’s Union Awards, an event that replaced the Society’s Ball with the intent to celebrate a wider range of involvement in the union’s community.
As well as celebrating Stirling’s societies, the new format recognises volunteer officers and academic reps, bringing a spotlight to the work they do for the university.
Taking place in the Macrobert Arts Centre on campus, the awards included a buffet for attendees, performances from societies, a photobooth, and a ceilidh.
The society performances included a rendition of What I Did For Love from A Chorus Line by Stirling Musical Theatre, and Labour by Paris Paloma, performed by Stirling A Capella.
