The Canadian chain Tim Hortons opened a new drive-thru in Stirling on Friday.
The restaurant sells breakfast items and evening meals.
This includes iced coffees, muffins, donuts, pancakes, and burgers.
On 23 December 2021, the company took to Twitter to reveal the new store, located around one mile from Stirling city centre.
They said, “…fancy an early Christmas present? Here’s one, a brand new drive thru restaurant is coming soon to you at Springkerse Retail Park…”
Stirling is home to the 50 Tim Horton’s store in the UK according to area manager Andrei Temneanu who was on site today for the launch of the popular food outlet.
Customers couldn’t wait to get their hands on some of the signature treats.
They was queue’s throughout the day to get their fast food items.
Temneanu said “… we opened this morning at 7 a.m. We had our first people join the queue at 3 a.m.”
“The first person in the drive-thru queue received a VIP card for two medium drinks for a full year.”
He was very positive about the opening stating, “Everybody that was in the queue was really excited. Most of the people were from Canada or they had friends or family in Canada.”
“I would say [the opening] was a great success. We have got 60 reviews on Google with 5/5 reviews.”
“Every customer went away with a big smile on their face”
The Springkerse outlet is open seven days a week from 6am-midnight supplying locals with their products.
