Brig speaks to VP education candidate Amy Smith

Why are you running for VP education?

“Regardless of your involvement in sports teams, clubs and societies we all have education in common. I also think I have some beneficial connections that would be valuable to the role.”

What makes you unique against your incumbent opposition Daniel Wright?

“I have new different ideas, like supporting study abroad, things that don’t usually come under education like have accessible sanitary products. SAAS during summer, has never been done before and I think it’ll be achieved as we saw success with scrapping graduation fees.”

Finally, what is your favourite thing about Stirling University?

“The sense of community on campus, it’s unique not something you get at older universities.”
