Wolverine to return in Deadpool 3

Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter last night to announce that Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine in the third Deadpool movie. 

Deadpool 2 featured a cameo of Jackman so fans’ hopes were high for Wolverine to make an appearance in the next movie.

The video announcement was posted on Reynolds’ Twitter last night; it received over 30 million views since it was posted.

In the video, Reynolds sits on a sofa and discusses his excitement on his entrance to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He says:  “I really had to search my soul for this one,” and tells us that he wants this first MCU Deadpool movie to “feel special.” 

After this, Hugh Jackman comes into shot. Reynolds casually addresses him: “Hey Hugh, want to play Wolverine one more time?” 

And with this question all Deadpool fans’ wishes came true.

Deadpool and Wolverine are now confirmed to be in the MCU

This is an extremely big deal to fans of the franchise and fans on Twitter were over the moon.

“Coming Hugh” appears on screen followed by the Deadpool logo with the three infamous claw marks scratching through it.

The film is set to be released on 6th September 2024.

It’s a long wait for fans of these characters. Hopefully it’ll be worth it!
