Glasgow Loves Christmas @ St. Enochs Market

Every year there are various Christmas events in Glasgow hosted by Glasgow Loves Christmas, such as Christmas markets, ice rinks, festivals and music events.

Stalls are similar to George Square Market, but the market is smaller, and has additional rides and fun activities for the children.

Opening times

This Christmas Fair opened on 18th November and will remain open until 3rd January.

Monday to Friday – 12 pm-9 pm

However, the exceptions to this are December 22 and 23 (10 am-9 pm), December 27 – 30 (10 am-9 pm), and January 2 and 3 (10 am-9 pm).

Saturdays and Sundays 10 am-9 pm

However, the exceptions to this are Christmas Eve (10 am-8 pm), Christmas Day (CLOSED), New Year’s Eve (10 am-8 pm), and New Year’s Day (CLOSED).

Food and drinks

There are many stalls for food and drinks. These include snacks and meals, and drinks can be alcoholic or normal. There is also a large seating bar area.

  • crepes
  • hot drinks
  • bar and seating area
  • Indian food
  • salt and chilli chips and chicken

Shopping stalls

Many stalls sell various items that can be used as gifts for those you love or just for yourself as a treat. These include things such as:

  • clothes
  • Scottish and Glaswegian items
  • soaps
  • candles
  • baubles
  • trinkets
  • jewellery

Other features

There are many photo opportunities around the market: a Santa snow globe, a Santa train ride and many beautiful lights all around.

Moreover, you can do rides and fun activities at the market – including a giant ride and a funhouse.
