Several fundraising events are being held across the city this summer ahead of Stirling’s first-ever Pride march.
Quiz nights, markets stalls and social events- including a ceilidh- are taking place in various locations around Stirling. All proceedings will go towards funding the main Pride event, scheduled for September 21.
More events and further details will be released soon, but here is the most recent information on the Stirling Pride fundraiser events.
Scheduled events
July 3 – Wander and Blether
A walk is happening at 6.30pm to invite LGBTQ+ people to socialise and meet each other. The walk location has not been announced, but organisers have confirmed it will be in an accessible area.
There is also a planned coffee or drink hang-out for after the walk. There is no set-charge for the event, but tickets can be bought with a donation. Full event information can be found here.
July 6 – Maker’s Market
This Saturday from 11am to 3pm at the Holy Trinity Church Hall on Albert Place, there will be a Maker’s Market. There will be a range of stalls selling jewellery, art, plants, leathercraft and more. Full event information can be found here.
July 13 – Yarn Bombing for Pride
Made in Stirling, located on King Street, are hosting a drop-in event from 10am to 5pm. Knitters, crocheters, and sewers are invited to come along, socialise and craft flowers to create a Pride rainbow. Full event information can be found here.
July 20 – Dancing, yoga and cupcakes

July 25 – Book Nook Quiz
The Book Nook on Upper Craigs are hosting a Quiz Night. Tickets are by team, not by individual. The minimum cost is a £5 donation but higher donations are welcome. The quiz will start at 7pm. Full event information can be found here.

August 31– Rocky Horror Show
