Stirling Musical Theatre are set to take the Venue stage Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 for an A-Z cabaret. The show will feature songs from the golden age of musicals to modern Broadway.

“I can’t wait to see everyone on stage!”

Katie, one of the shows directors, said, “Putting forward this theme idea was always going to be challenging but it definitely paid off. Directing the cabaret has been tiring but also so much fun and I can’t wait to see everyone on stage!”

SuMT regulars will take the stage once again, along with some new faces.

“A really great show”

Society president Dana said, “Our whole cast have been working so hard over the last few months to produce a really great show. We’re all so excited for everyone to finally see what we’ve been working on!”

Performer, Ellie, spoke of her excitement to be in the show:

“Cabaret season is my favourite time of year! I love getting to meet everyone during show week that I haven’t had the opportunity to work with and I love seeing how hard everyone has worked to put on an amazing show. The cast this year are all so special and I feel blessed to be able to perform alongside them!”

This follows the society’s Showstopper Cabaret last semester where they performed songs from Beetlejuice The Musical, Mean Girls and A Chorus Line.
