Man taken to hospital after fire in City Centre

A man has been taken to hospital after a fire in Stirling city centre.

At 8.52pm on Thursday 6 May emergency services rushed to an incident in the city centre, after a fire broke out.

Since then a 24-year-old man has been taken into hospital, however his condition is unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “About 8.52pm on Thursday, 6 May Police Scotland attended an address in Stirling in response to a house fire.

“Police were assisted by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

“A 24-year-old male has been taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment and assessment.”
