Two New Dungeons And Dragons Books Set To Release In 2025

1 min read

Two new Dungeons and Dragons books have been added to Wizards of the Coast’s release schedule. The first being Eberron: Forge of the Artificer, releasing August 19. The second book on the other hand is currently unknown but it has an expected release date of October.

Though the content of either book is minimal at the moment, Eberron is set to bring in improvements to the Artificer class and alterations to the class’ structure. The new rules for the Artificer class will likely follow the updated class rules set out by the revamped 2024 Player’s Handbook.

Both books follow the collection of updated DnD 5E core rules books that include the 2024 edition of the Dungeon Master’s Guide and Players Handbook, as well as the 2025 release of the updated Monster Manual releasing in Feburary 18.

Other books are also set for release in 2025 including a new starter set called Heroes of the Borderlands. This will be a revamped version of the old Keep in the Borderlands adventure brought to the new 5E system. The adventure will include support for co-dungeon masters and a new player-friendly character creator.

All of the new releases follow the updated 5E rules and each will bring something new to the refreshed system.
