West Lothian’s The Snuts are Back for a Fourth Album

1 min read

After two years that have felt like a lifetime, The Snuts are back, and they’ve brought with them Summer Rain.

Jack Cochrane and his lads have spent time connecting with their roots in West Lothian to craft their forthcoming 2026 album; this hasn’t been without its bumps in the road.

Their debut single, Summer Rain, is The Snuts at their most raw and personal, detailing struggles with Fatherhood and living life on the road; its anthemic qualities bring hope to Jack Cochrane’s experiences in the years between releases.

Speaking about his time returning home, Jack went into detail about his and his wife’s life after childbirth. “My wife was struggling really badly with postnatal depression…We had a kid when the band had just released our third album and were on tour. That’s way too much to be doing with a newborn.”

Explaining the meaning of Summer Rain, Jack stated, “Lyrically, the song expresses the impact of change and the fear of the future, but also a willingness or plea to restart and claim back functional happiness.”

Alongside their fourth album, The Snuts are hitting the road for a UK tour.

Tickets for their tour can be bought here.
