University at lowest ranking since 2017

The University has received its lowest ranking since 2017 according to the 2021 Complete University Guide University League Table.

According to the table, Stirling is now ranked 45th out of 130 universities, down two places from 2020.

The Survey also showed Stirling’s student satisfaction to have dropped three places to 103rd out of 130.

On the subject league table the University did particularly well in Social Work ranking third out of 83, in English ranking six out of 81 and in Communications and Media Studies Ranking twelve out of 97.

The University of Stirling said: “The University is committed to continuously enhancing the experience of all our students, and we will continue to monitor our position in the league tables to see where we can improve.”

The University of St Andrews placed the highest out of all Scottish Universities in third place behind the University of Cambridge in first place and the University of Oxford in second.

The University of Edinburgh was ranked fifteenth, the University of Glasgow was ranked nineteenth and the University of Strathclyde was ranked joined 35th with Queen Mary University of London.
