The Green and Blue Space, the Union’s sustainability hub, is reopen. The shop is selling zero waste products and sustainable lifestyle swaps.

Previously, the Green and Blue Space was located in the atrium, but it can now be found on the way to the Union from the atrium.

A timeline of the Green and Blue Space is currently displayed at the back of the room and the space will be used for projects and workshops with an environemental focus.

The University of Stirling has the first carbon neutral students’ union in the UK.

Caitlin Turner, Green and Blue Space supervisor and current Sustainability Officer, said: “Super excited obviously! We’ve had the Green and Blue Space since I was in first year so it’s lovely to see it in a bigger space.

“We have lots of students interested in this local space for sustainable products. I think it’s a great step forward for sustainable and zero-waste lifestyles.”

The Green and Blue Space is open Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm.
