SPA Regional Awards in Scotland have just been announced with Brig taking home the award for Best Publication for the second time in a row.
Highly Commended for the Best Publication in Scotland category is the Glasgow Guardian from the University of Glasgow.
Best Journalist in Scotland in 2022 is Lucy Dunn from the Glasgow Guardian.
Highly Commended for Best Journalist is Luke Chafer, also from The Glasgow Guardian.
The Winner of the Best Scottish Political Piece is “Meet North East Fife’s Candidates: Scottish Parliamentary Elections 2021” by Laura Beveridge of The Saint from the University of St Andrews.
Highly Commended for that category is Glasgow Guardian’s Athina Bohner for “‘Fight Like Hell’: Inside Glasgow’s Youth March for Climate Justice.”
Laura McLay from University of Edinburgh’s The Student wins the Outstanding Commitment, while Lucy Dunn and Haille Pentleton from the Glasgow Guardian are Highly Commended.
