Stirling PhD student dies

The University of Stirling has announced the death of a student, Steve Chinn.

Chinn, a PhD Student, was also a tutor within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Sport.  

In a statement, the University said: “The University is saddened to learn of the death of one of our PhD students, Steve Chinn.

“Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Steve’s family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time.

“Our priority now is to ensure that fellow students and staff affected by this news are supported.”

“We recognise this is an upsetting time for our university community and we would like to reassure you that support is available.”
