The Great British Bake Off celebrity line up for Stand Up 2 Cancer was announced earlier this week. So, who are these celebrity contestants, and where do you recognise their names from?
In this article, Brig will introduce you to each baker and remind you what they’re best known for.
Vicky Pattison
Fans of Geordie Shore and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! will recognise this British television personality. However, if reality TV isn’t your thing, you may recognise her from Strictly Come Dancing, as she was a contestant in the latest season.
Scott Mills
Scott is best known for his work as an English radio DJ, presenting his self-titled show on BBC Radio 1 before moving to BBC 2 to host the station’s breakfast show. One Direction fans may remember him from the “1D Day” back in 2013, where he hosted an eight-hour livestream to promote the band’s Midnight Memories album.
Rory Graham (Rag’n’Bone Man)
Ten years ago, Rag’n’Bone Man released his first hit single, Human. Other hits of his include Skin, and a couple of features with Calvin Harris, Giant and Lovers In A Past Life.
Emmett J Scanlan
This Irish actor is known for playing villainous, bad boy characters. Some of the shows and movies that Emmett has been seen in include Hollyoaks, Peaky Blinders, Breakdown, In the Flesh, Fool Me Once, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Aston Merrygold
Aston is a singer-songwriter, dancer, actor, and television presenter, but fans will recognise the star from being a member of British boy band JLS. The artist is still releasing new music as a solo act, with his latest single American Girls dropping last year.
Jojo Siwa
This American has done her rounds in recent years after starting a music career, which shot her back into the spotlight. However, her story started years ago when she appeared on American reality TV show Dance Moms.
Molly-Mae Hague
Molly-Mae is an English reality television personality. She took part in series 5 of the hit dating show, Love Island. Since the show, she has carved herself a place in the celebrity world, working as an influencer among other roles.
Edith Bowman
Host of several radio shows, including Colin and Edith, this Scottish radio DJ now hosts the annual Scottish Music Awards ceremony. In 2024, this familiar voice appeared on Celebrity MasterChef and made it through to the quarterfinals.
Ralf Little
This English actor is known for his work in television comedy, including roles such as Antony Royle in The Royle Family. He also appeared in series 10 of Doctor Who and Nativity 3.
Richard Herring
Richard is a stand up, actor, comedy writer, author, playwright, podcaster (his podcast is known as RHLSTP) and blogger. He also won series 10 of Taskmaster.
Joe Wilkinson
8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, After Life, Taskmaster, and Sex Education are only a few of the TV shows that Joe has appeared on. The English comedian, actor, and screenwriter has also supported Alan Carr and Russell Howard on tour.
Babatunde Aleshe
Any Gogglebox viewers may recognise this British actor and comedian from the celebrity specials. He also appeared on series 22 of I’m a Celeb.
Rose Matafeo
Hailing from New Zealand, this comedian won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018 for her show Horndog. She also voiced Loto in Moana 2.
Judi Love
This English stand-up comedian is a regular panellist on ITV’s Loose Women. She has also appeared on Taskmaster in series 13.
Tom Davis
Tom is an English actor and comedian, seen in Murder in Successville as DI Sleet and King Gary.
Mark Wright
This former footballer is best known for his appearance in the first few series of The Only Way is Essex. He’s also been spotted on Strictly Come Dancing and I’m a Celeb.
Nella Rose
This YouTube star has more than one million subscribers and currently hosts Catfish UK. She was also a contestant on I’m a Celeb in 2023.
Mutya Buena
Mutya is a singer-songwriter, best known for being an original member of the girl group Sugarbabes.
Jon Richardson
As an actor, comedian, and radio presenter, Jon is known for his appearances on 8 Out of 10 Cats and Meet the Richardsons. Audiences may recognise his voice from his work with co-host Russell Howard on BBC Radio 6 Music.
Rose Ayling-Ellis
Code of Silence, Reunion, and Eastenders are some of the shows that this English actor and producer can be found in.
Sam Thompson
Now hosting his own podcast, Staying Relevant Podcast, Sam was previously known for appearing on Made in Chelsea between 2013 and 2021.
Alex Brooker
Known for co-hosting The Last Leg, Alex is an English journalist and presenter that can often be spotted on Channel 4.
Ambika Mod
BBC viewers will recognise this star from the drama series This Is Going to Hurt. Ambika also starred in the Netflix miniseries One Day.
