Stirling Uni graduate and food writer Grace Dent will be heading to the jungle for this year’s season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Dent, who is from Carlisle, studied English at Stirling and was a writer for Brig during the 90s.

She went on to write for Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire, later becoming the Guardian‘s restaurant critic.

Grace Dent will be joined down under by Britney Spears’ sister Jamie-Lynn, politician Nigel Farage and First Dates host Fred Siriex.

The ITV programme attracted much criticism last year when MP Matt Hancock took part as a contestant.

Already viewers are calling to boycott the show as Farage is rumoured to be paid £1.5m to take part.

I’m a Celebrity begins this Sunday, November 19.
