Stirling recently ranked as one of the best university cities for both vegans and bar scenes.
The Best University Guide, published by Student Beans, rated Stirling as the sixth best city for vegans in the UK and third best for its bar scene.
The rankings were calculated by the percentage of bars and vegan-friendly eateries per capita in each university region, using data from TripAdvisor and the Office for National Statistics.

Stirling is home to a lively food and drink scene, with many cafes and restaurants leaving vegans spoilt for choice.
At Café Sixty Four on Upper Craigs, half the menu is vegan, HBW Coffee does amazing vegan brunch and cakes, and campus outlet Scran offers plant-based pizzas and burgers.

The bars and pubs of Stirling are as varied as its residents. Take a trip to the Curly Coo Bar if whisky is your drink, or visit the Kilted Kangaroo if you fancy going down under.
There’s something for everyone, whether you want a quiet drink or to get yourself hyped up for a big night out.
