Oscar’s wine bar in the Stirling Arcade has announced it is rebranding as Mimi’s Brunch House.
Anyone that has visited the arcade recently will have noticed the bar, which opened in 2020, has been closed the past few weeks.
The owners of Oscar’s have now revealed their plans on social media.
“We have had so many messages regarding what’s going on with Oscar’s we want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us since our opening in 2020,” they wrote.
“It’s been a journey littered with challenges from Covid to cost of living crisis, energy costs rising and much more but also a journey filled with good times, great people and lessons learned.
“We have taken the very difficult decision to close Oscar’s and for us to focus on a new path.”
They also paid thanks to their “incredible” staff.
The owners, who also run King Cons on King Street, clarified to Brig that they are setting up a new company and rebranding as a brunch spot.
The new Mimi’s Instagram says it is “coming soon” and will be offering bottomless brunch, cocktails, tea, coffee and cakes.
